HK416C

The HK 416C is the most compact version of the HK 416 series. It was developed as a personnel defense weapon for a US requirement. The HK 416C has a very short barrel for a 5.56mm weapon and a highly specialized buttstock to reduce the overall length and a modified bolt carrier to accommodate a a flat wound recoil spring.

The HK416C has a lower rate of fire than other 416 variants, around 700 rpm, to put that into perspective, a typical 10.4" HK416 runs at around 850 rpm.
