Heckler & Koch P12

The Heckler & Koch P12 pistol is the Bundeswehr variant of the HK USP Tactical. In contrast to the standard version of the HK USP Tactical, it has no trigger stop and no manual backup . Instead of the combined safety and release lever, the P12 - like the HK P8 Combat - has a pure release lever .

The USP Tactical was developed at the request of several US elite units, because shortly after the introduction of the Heckler & Koch MK23 (SOCOM), many soldiers criticized it as too bulky. The weapon is extremely precise, robust, has a low recoil and can also be equipped with a silencer . Your magazine holds twelve .45 ACP (11.43 × 23 mm) cartridges. In the Bundeswehr, the P12 is used, among other things, by the Special Forces Command ( KSK ) and the remote surveillance forces of the Army reconnaissance force .

The caliber .45 ACP used in standard laborations remains below the speed of sound , which is why weapons in this caliber can be equipped with silencers without the disadvantages of specially processed subsonic ammunition.
